Today's lunch: hot dog octopi over Boston baked beans; chai yogurt with diced peaches and peach blooms; 2 salt water taffies, Cinnamon Toast Crunch; carrot sticks, snap peas, cauliflower, and cucumber labneh sammies; whole, raw milk with protein powder.
Carrot sticks are not my favorite side to pack because it seems to be a crutch - when you peruse our school's lunch menu, there's only one day in September that they are not foisting them on the kids! I think the new school lunch initiatives are great, BUT to me that just feels like a cop-out. But my hubby, God love him, said Karate Kid might feel left out so I should pack some. So here you go, hunny! This veg's for you!
